#387 Willie Randolph All-Star



Why this card is awesome: Because it's so weird to see a card from 1988 that notes on-base percentage! I don't think any card manufacturers regularly listed OBP on the backs of cards back in 1988, so to me this list seems very strange.

Look how far Wade Boggs was ahead of everybody else. Molitor is a distant 2nd, but when you move on down, 5th place is 61 points behind. Boggs gets criticized for being a slappy singles hitter, but he was a machine that was a worthy HOFer. His problem was that he got caught philandering.
