Yes, it was Palmer who tripped over third base at the Vet. I think the Phils were playing the Cubs that night
Don't remember a whole lot else about Palmer as a Phillie, though I do recall him hitting a couple home runs that year. I was only eight years old at the time, so my memory is somewhat fuzzy, but I believe he and Luis Aguayo went back-to-back in one game
