Why this card is awesome: Because Oester was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, and plays for the team in Cincinnati, Ohio. Trifecta, baby!
Cool stat: Oester hit a lot of triples, finishing with 33 in just over 4200 at-bats. Oddly, though, he had just 24 RBI with those triples, because most of them (well, 14 of them) came with the bases empty. Nearly half (16) came with no outs.
