I agree on when this photo was taken. Darling was #12 and the second number in this photo was 4. I wonder if the first # was a 6, 7 or 8.
Ronnie only wore 44 during the end of his rookie season, 1983, and 1984. I'd bet this is a Spring Training 1984 shot.
He looks positively boyish, not to mention stoned.
