#82T Dan Pasqua
IMPACT FACTOR 4/10:Pasqua came to from the Yankees in a trade that cost the White Sox little, and was with them for 7 seasons. The first 4 of those seasons were pretty productive, although with limited playing time.
When he went to the White Sox, he had 4 straight years with an OPS+ over 100, that's why. He just couldn't hit lefties at all, judging by the fact that he barely ever faced them. (2562 career PA vs RHP, 438 career PA vs LHP.)
Maybe that's why. I remember being sad that he didn't come back with any team after the strike, but looking over those statistics again, he had his worst years when the team was great.
I always liked Pasqua, but looking over his statistics, I now wonder why.

ReplyDeleteNot to be too picky, but the post says that he was traded to the Yankees, not from the Yankees.
