Wow. That might be the worst air brushing of 1988.
I was a big fan of Buddy growing up. For years, we in Chicago heard rumors of a trade which would have brought him to the White Sox. Instead, we endured an endless stream iof 1 or 2 year stopgaps.
Making it worse was that my cousin lived in Cleveland and gave me crap for year!
Hey, you Chisox fans had a Bell at 3rd.....Kevin "I fielded under .900 one year" Bell.
Kevin Bell is just one in a long line of Chicago's (both sides of town) hot prospects at 3rd...Kevin Orie, Tim Hulett, Carlos Martinez, Gary Scott, Wade Rowdon...
Kevin Bell busted his knee pretty bad.
