Why this card is awesome: Because of a very angular card. Palacios has an angular face, especially around the lips, plus Topps gave him a nice angular shadow across his face and two bonus shadows across his neck.
Cool stat: Palacios makes the top 10 for most innings in a season giving up no earned runs. Bob McClure, whose card we just saw recently, makes it too.
it seems so strange that he pithed for the buccos in the 90's. Seemed like he was on the team forever.
